Loudenville, Ohio
Loudonville is a village in Ashland and Holmes counties in Ohio, with a population of approximately 2,700.
Loudonville is nicknamed the "Canoe Capital of Ohio" for the many canoe liveries along the Mohican River. It is also home to Mohican State Park and Mohican-Memorial State Forest and Landoll's Mohican Castle.
Loudonville is a popular tourist destination, especially during the summer months. The village is home to a number of historical sites, including the Loudonville Public Library, which was built in 1872, and the Mohican Historical Society Museum, which houses a collection of artifacts related to the history of the Mohican Valley.
Loudonville is also home to a number of outdoor recreation opportunities, including hiking, biking, fishing, and canoeing. The village is located within Mohican State Park, which offers over 10,000 acres of forests, lakes, and streams.
