Erie Metroparks is a system of 14 public parks located in Erie County, Ohio. The parks cover over 12,000 acres of land and feature a variety of natural and recreational amenities, including hiking trails, biking trails, golf courses, lakes, and beaches.
Kelleys Island Glacial Grooves are a series of parallel grooves that were carved into the bedrock of Kelleys Island, Ohio by glaciers during the last ice age. The grooves are up to 35 feet long, 15 feet deep, and 2 feet wide. They are the largest and best-preserved glacial grooves in the United States.
