Erie is a city located in northwestern Pennsylvania, United States, along the southern shore of Lake Erie. It is the fourth-largest city in Pennsylvania and serves as the county seat of Erie County.

Erie is often referred to as the "Gem City" due to its stunning waterfront and picturesque beaches. Presque Isle State Park, a 3,200-acre peninsula that juts out into Lake Erie, is one of the city's most popular destinations. The park features sandy beaches, hiking and biking trails, bird-watching opportunities, and recreational activities such as boating, fishing, and swimming.
