Springboro, Ohio

Springboro, a suburb of Cincinnati and Dayton, is located mostly in Warren County in Clearcreek and Franklin Townships; with a small portion in Miami Township in Montgomery County. The city is part of the Miami Valley. As of the 2020 census, the city had a population of 19,062.

Springboro was founded in 1815 by Jonathan Wright, a Quaker from Pennsylvania. The city was originally called "Springborough" in reference to the numerous underground springs found in the area. In 1831, Springborough was incorporated as a village. The city's name was shortened to "Springboro" in 1850.

Springboro has a strong sense of community and is known for its friendly residents. The city has a variety of parks and recreation facilities, as well as a vibrant downtown area. Springboro is also home to a number of businesses and industries.
