Xenia, Ohio

Xenia is a city located in southwestern Ohio, in Greene County. It is situated approximately 15 miles east of Dayton and 50 miles west of Columbus. The city covers an area of around 12 square miles and has a population of approximately 25,000 people.

Xenia is known for its historic downtown area, which features numerous shops, restaurants, and other businesses. The city also has a variety of parks and outdoor recreational areas, including the Xenia Station bike trail, which connects Xenia to the nearby cities of Dayton and Cincinnati.

Xenia has a rich history, dating back to the early 1800s when it was founded by pioneers from Virginia. The city played a key role in the Underground Railroad during the Civil War era, and it was also the site of a devastating tornado in 1974 that destroyed much of the downtown area. Today, Xenia is a thriving community with a strong sense of history and pride.
